Members without a previous balance of at least $6.00 will show a debit for their balance. Joe Bulterman, in his final summary as the Chairman of the AKA Membership Committee, reported we had 925 members, including clubs, libraries, etc. December Discussions (In no particular order) . Monty Lehmann reported that the Kathetys article is completed and will be published as a single JAKA issue in May or June 2001. . Lee Harper announced the names of new BOT members. He will continue as Chairman and Dave Koran will assume the duties of Secretary.  Lee asked for those interested in taking over chairmanship of the following AKA committees to contact him: F&E listing, KHY award, and Beginners. Finally, Lee reported that publication of the KMI has been approved and that the BOT expects several other books to be published during the coming year. . There was a general discussion of the content of JAKA: academic versus hobbiest. . Gary Bartell will take over the Membership Committee in January 2001. . Current status of the CAKC/KKG/PAKA meeting in March was reviewed. . Location of CAKC meetings for the first quarter were reviewed (see website) . Dave Snell displayed a number of plumbing fittings and asked those interested in a group purchase to contact him. . Monty Lehmann will serve as club librarian. . Lee Harper reviewed the availability of inexpensive TDS and pH meters. . After adjournment, Dave Snell provided his auctioneering services. |
